2 lbs beef and pork (ground)- I used 1lb ground beef and 1lb of my husband awesome homemade pork sausage
1 medium onion (chopped)
1/2 cup celery (chopped)
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup table cream
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 package pie crust mix (package makes to pie crusts)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Brown meat and onion (drain)
Stir in mushroom soup, cream, parsley flakes, celery, bay leaf and soy sauce.
Cover; simmer, stirring several times during 15 minutes
Remove bay leaf
Spoon mixture into 9x9x2 baking pan
Combine crust mix and grated cheese in bowl (add enough water until mix sticks together)
Roll pastry out into a square
Place over hot meat filling pressing edges against edges of pan to seal.
Cut slits in top to let steam escape
Bake @375 for 40 minutes until crust is golden and filling bubbles up
