Bread at home

Last night Gold Medal Bread Flour was 2.19 a bag and Yeast was 6.49. I got two bags of flour and one container of yeast. So in total I spent 10.87 on enough raw materials to make 8 loafs’ of bread. We make Light Rolled Oat Bread 1 ½ pound loafs. In general those loafs in the store are 3 bucks a loaf. It’s hardy and makes great toast. It by no means is wonder bread so Giant White Loafs would probably be cheaper but not as tasty or probably healthy. --

The simple ManFort math means 8, 3 dollar loafs would be 24 dollars and popping the loaf in the bread machine at night before bed time would be would be 1.36 a loaf or .. 10.87. That in mind we don’t count for the 28 cents it may cost to run the bread maker or the number of minutes it take to get it ready or package it. At the acre we are using that as family time or time for my wife and I to work together, and as MasterCard would say… That is priceless.
